Reviews

A great book with a variety of knits to suit all abilities clear and easy instructions. Teddy bears are a big hit.

I love this book. It has photos of each 'knit', including a photo of each item on the contents page so it's easy to choose at a glance what to knit next and find what page it's on. The patterns are easy to follow (so far have made a teddy bear, snowman and carrot). As you can tell from what I've made already there's quite a variety of little projects/quirky knits. A couple of the patterns I had already from the '20 to Make' Xmas book but I knew this would be the case from the description.

Lovely book, beautiful pictures, so many lovely things to make, where to start?! Ideal for beginners and experienced knitters alike. I shall be very busy for a while as my grand children have already put their orders in!

On opening my parcel I was thrilled with the 'feel' of the book, its glossy pages are a treat to hold.

On opening the book I was taken through some beautiful pictures of future projects, I actually want to knit all of the projects!

The blackberries are an absolute favourite of mine, I giggled when I saw them and fell in love with them straight away.

There's something special in the book for all of the loved ones in my life.

Our granddaughter is short of desserts for pretend play so I'm thrilled to see some gorgeous and exciting things for me to knit for her.

The joy I experience is making 'something out of nothing' i.e. out of my scrap bag and making each project unique to us and there are plenty of scrap bag projects within this book.

The instructions to all of the patterns seem really easy to follow.

This book will be a definite first to reach for project book, a delight from page to page.

This is a book packed with an eclectic mix of crochet patterns for quick makes, ranging from flowers to beanie hats, Christmas makes to bears, purses to granny squares. It would be suitable for people who are fairly confident in crochet. There are short sections on crochet know-how and stitches. The photos are clear and instructions are comprehensive. It is worth knowing that these projects have all come from books in the 20 to Make series. It's a good book for giving you ideas for small projects.

What a lovely crochet book. I am a novice at crochet so was delighted to see that this book had a good mixture of projects from a heart bookmark and some quick and easy flowers to more complex (for me) designs. The book contains a brief introduction to crochet stitches and shows reverse single crochet and working in spirals but the best part of the book is the patterns, which include quite a few different Christmas items, bell, bauble, pine cone, snowman, penguin, Christmas tree, lots of teddy bears (angel, bride, gardener, groom, artist) as well as some lovely flower patterns, and patterns for purses, a bookmark and beanie hats. Many projects can be completed in a few minutes and these can be joined to make bigger projects. Instructions are clear and there is a good picture of each project. All together a lovely book with some different ideas. A nice addition for anyone just starting to crochet or for someone who wants to complete quick and easy designs.

100 projects are packed into this beautiful glossy book.

Knitters will adore the ideas that are taken from the Twenty to Make books.

Knitting know how, techniques and easy to follow instructions give even a beginner all they need to create a stunning and useful item.

From headbands to a Curious Sheep, the projects are fun and wonderful. Some projects make you smile, and the kids will love them. The Peas in a Pod would be a welcome addition to any childs toy kitchen, and the Teddy Bears are gorgeous.

Some projects use just a small amount of yarn so are brilliant for stash busting and using up those annoying leftovers from other projects.

This is a bright and colourful book and filled with knitting inspiration.
